Chatfield’s processing facility follows good manufacturing practices. A strict sanitation procedure and QC inspection are in place between each allergen run. We cannot, however, guarantee that trace amounts of allergens will not be present.

CAROB & COCOA
Carob is a natural fruit, cultivated for its edible seed pods. It is processed into chips or powder and used as an ingredient in cakes and cookies, as a substitute for chocolate. Check out our recipes for great uses of this natural, caffeine-free product.
Based on storage conditions, the color of carob chips can change due to variations in temperature. The color does not affect the quality or taste of the product. Carob chips should be stored in a cool dry area.
Carob is free from caffeine, which is a stimulant. Carob also contains more than two times as much calcium as cocoa powder. Both offer a great taste for your cocoa inspired beverage and food needs.
No, Chatfield's Carob Powder does not have contact with corn or corn derivatives.
Our Chatfield's Date Sugar is 100% granulated dehydrated dates and is a delicious, wholesome sweetener. Date sugar is a great replacement for white or brown sugar.

If Chatfield's Date Sugar should become solid, the taste of the product will not be compromised. Date sugar may harden if unused over time, so be sure to check the best by date on your package. Many bakers soften date sugar by placing it in a microwaveable container and heating in a microwave in ten (10) second intervals.
