Vegan Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Date Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup Chatfield's® Date Sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 cup Chatfield’s® Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour a loaf pan. In a large bowl, mix together flours, Chatfield’s Date Sugar, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
- In a small bowl, whisk together pumpkin, oil, syrup, and water. Pour liquid mixture into large bowl. Combine until just moistened; batter will be very thick. Fold in chips.
- Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake 45-50 minutes or until top is browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool 20 minutes; use a butter knife to gently loosen bread from sides of pan, then invert onto a cooling rack.
